A BALL HAS NO BIAS
Aotearoa Gold / Young Lions Film
This film was concepted, scripted, voiced and edited all in 48 hours. All just by us.
And we’re super proud that it got us to Cannes (where we had a ball of course).
The thinking: Despite being totally untrue, 80% of parents think that sport is more important for boys than it is for girls. So, when faced with the brief of challenging parents’ unconscious gender bias, we sought to completely remove gender from the equation; telling the story from the perspective of the unbiased ball. It importantly allowed us to hero the benefits of sport without villainising men or victimising women.
